Jun 2012		 Hilary Duff Sued Over Car Accident

Hilary Duff has been hit with a lawsuit accused of crashing her Range Rover into another car back in 2010 and seriously injuring the other driver.

According to the lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Duff was cruisin’ around L.A. on December 12, 2010 … when she plowed into a car driven by Rachel Owens.

Owens claims she suffered “great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering” … and needed multiple doctors and surgeons to treat her unspecified conditions.

Owens also claims her injuries prevented her from going to work … and although she doesn’t state her career, Owens anticipates she will be “prevented from attending her usual occupation for a period of time in the future.”

Owens is suing for unspecified damages.
